These Old Blood lines might be better than we thought.

It seems Svaðastöðum is one of the best know breeders of the older lines of Icelandic's,
as was Syðra-Vallholti, Víðivöllum and Hvítárvöllum. Am awaiting more information on these old Icelandic horse farms.

Many people have thought the 1960's imports were of no account but that is looking to be, not the case. There are some good very old blood lines in these horses and well worth preserving our early Icelandic horse heritage.

Dyfra's Dam, was from the 1960's Imports.

This mare is from the Long Island Icelandics and Andrea of Sand Meadows farm rescued her.

Edda

Silver Bay Granddaughter of Glymur frá Innri-Skeljabrekka out of a mare bred from the early import lineage on the Dams side.
